Be Your Own Empathic Listener; Say Kind Words to Yourself, Yourself.

A letter to self.

Shut your mind off all the negativity. You are a unique individual. You are one of a kind. God has only made you, You. Take pride in that.

I am sorry if you are not at a happy place in your mind and if you are suffering. You are allowed to feel the pain. You are allowed to feel miserable. You are allowed to feel down. You have all the right to experience all that. I acknowledge your pain.

You are above all, a human. A human who feels, who has senses, and a human who is full of emotions. Only machines don’t feel. You are not a machine. And thus, you will have bad days when you don't want to face the world. Don't. The world is full of heartless beings that don't care. You don't need to care about them either. You are above and beyond what they say. Let them live in the little paradise they have created around themselves. It's all they have.

You are boundless and fierce. Don't feel guilty because you chose yourself. Your happiness is bigger than their opinion of you. Your peace is worth more than the pain they caused you.

They don't deserve a place in your mind, let alone your life.
